Green tree frogs are timid at times, and do not tolerate being handled. Being nocturnal, it is especially vocal and active at night. Unfortunately, frogs are facing population declines and extinction largely as a result of human activities. This is perfect for your friend who loves an ongoing animal cause, or possibly has similar timid traits as this nocturnal reptile.
